Who?
Good question…. Something I keep asking myself…. Here’s what I know: Generation X, English, living by the sea, still working in London, member of Optic Nerve Street Photography Collective. Likes animals, wine, laughing, traveling, big box sets, rock music, and, of course, people-watching, and has big dreams of being a polar explorer… one-day.
What?
Ironies, funny moments, people doing strange things, incongruences, weird stuff, randomness, English people being English.
Where?
Home, away, beach, train, city, events. Anywhere, I don’t care. I’m happy shooting wherever.
When?
Mostly weekends and on my commute, and of course on holiday – whenever I have a camera (or a phone) with me, which is most of the time actually, or at least trying to be.
Why?
Blink and you’ve missed it. Not everyone even saw it; I have this strange compulsion to record these fractions of a second that may never be repeated again; to show the absurdities and comedies of life; to capture situations that could be normal, but really they aren’t normal; curiosity; catharsis; a desire to create something, to make up new stories.
